After a holiday break, we resume recording more of the acoustic tracks that will appear on the CD, all the while evaluating each song for possible 'over-dubs' of additional instruments. Since we already have a series of December, 1997 pictures covering this, below are some pictures and technical details for all the 'tech-types' online.

MW at the recording console:

The Peavey AMR series 2400 recording console, with JLCooper 'Magi II' console automation system.

The upper speaker bridge houses the Urei 809 time aligned monitors, and pictured over the recording console is the Genelec 1030a near field monitoring system.

Computers are Compaq P166, 32mb memory, 2gb HD, running Cakewalk Pro Audio 6.0, and Digidesign Session8 wave editing software, with Music Quest 8PortSE Midi and SMPTE interface.

The microphones

Microphones in use at the studio:

Pictured left to right are the the Audio-Technica 4050, the Rode Classic, and the AKG 414 microphones.
