Snapshots From The Studio:

Update: December 17th, 1997:

At this point, we take a break from recording acoustic tracks and catch Danny Johnson, David Posey, and Lex P. Price, Jr. on a short break from their tour. We invite Mike Utley (Jimmy Buffett's musical director) over to play piano, and they become the first set of guest musicians to appear on the project. We cut our first track with a full band (a song entitled "Ain't That A Shame") and we end up with 5 excellent takes, each with a slightly different feel. Over the next couple of days we will decide which cut will become the final track to appear on the CD.
Lots of fun in a very creative environment.

John and Michael discussing the arrangement:

Michael also appears on John's 1973 release 'My Sportin' Life', and besides having worked with Jimmy Buffett for the last 25+ years, he recently produced 2 new CD's: one from artist Robert Greenidge called 'Club Trini', as well as the new Jimmy Buffett release entitled 'Don't Stop The Carnival'.
(the latter due out in March of 1998)
