October 14^th 1999: First Amendment Rocks Memphis
A panel with Legendary producer Sam Phillips, John Kay, 'The Falcons' Sir Mack Rice, and songwriter Jill Sobule meets at the Associated Press Managing Editors convention and discusses the harms of music censorship. June 8^th 1999: The executive director of the First Amendment Center announces that John Kay has been named to the national advisory board for The Freedom Forum First Amendment Center.
